1. Introduction

Welcome to NJN Training & Consulting LLC, a nurse-owned training and consulting business located in Houston, Texas. By accessing, booking, or using our services, website, or communications, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered

NJN Training & Consulting LLC provides professional training and consulting services, including but not limited to:

Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) classes
CPR and BLS courses certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Respirator fit testing
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses (coming soon)
On-site and group training at client facilities
Business consulting services, including guidance on woman-owned and minority-owned business certifications and government contracting processes

3. Training and Certification

All training and certification courses are delivered in accordance with applicable standards set by certifying bodies.
Participants must meet all prerequisites and complete all course requirements to receive certification.
Certificates are issued only upon successful completion and are valid for the duration specified by the certifying organization.

4. Booking, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

Bookings may be made via phone, email, or our website.
To receive a full refund, written cancellation notice must be received at least fifteen (4) days prior to the scheduled course date.
Requests to reschedule must also be submitted at least fifteen (2) days prior to the scheduled course date.
Fourteen (4) days or fewer prior to the course date, all fees are non-refundable, due to limited availability and instructor time allocation.
In rare or extreme circumstances, rescheduling requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and approved electronic payment methods.

6. On-Site and Group Training

On-site and group training services are available.
Clients must provide a safe, suitable environment, including adequate space and required equipment.
Additional fees may apply based on location, travel, and group size.

7. Business Consulting Services

Consulting services are advisory in nature.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date guidance, we do not guarantee certification approvals, contract awards, or business outcomes.

8. Liability Disclaimer

NJN Training & Consulting LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in training or consulting services.
Participants engage in training activities at their own risk.

9. Physical Requirements and Medical Clearance

Certain training programs require moderate physical activity, including but not limited to:

Stepping backward
Grasping
Bending at the waist and knees
Lifting or lowering 30–50 pounds
Getting up and down from the floor without assistance
Full range of motion in both arms and legs
Performing a deep reverse lunge

A physician’s release is required for individuals currently or recently (within 30 days) under medical care, including but not limited to:

Back, knee, or neck injuries
Cardiac conditions
Pregnancy (any trimester)
Recent surgery

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data. All consulting engagements are handled with strict confidentiality.

11. Communications & Messaging Consent (A2P Compliance)

By providing your phone number or contact information, you agree that NJN Training & Consulting LLC may contact you via phone calls, text messages, emails, or automated and AI-assisted communications, including prerecorded messages, for marketing, informational, scheduling, and service-related purposes.

Message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of purchase.
You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message or by contacting us directly to update your communication preferences.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
