Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction
Welcome to our nurse-owned training and consulting business, located in the heart of Houston. By accessing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered
We offer a range of services, including:
Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) classes
CPR/BLS courses certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Respirator fit testing
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses (coming soon)
On-site and group training at client facilities
Business consulting services, including guidance on obtaining woman-owned and minority-owned business certifications and navigating government contracting


3. Training and Certification
All training and certification courses are provided in accordance with the standards set by the relevant certifying bodies.
Participants must meet all prerequisites and complete all course requirements to receive certification.
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and are valid for the period specified by the certifying body. 


4. Booking and Cancellation
Bookings for training and consulting services can be made via phone, email, or our website. To receive a full refund, we must receive written notification of cancellation 15 days prior to the start date of the course. We must receive written notification for request to change to a later course date 15 days prior to the start date of class.
Please be advised that 14 days prior to the booking, fees are non-refundable due to the limited availability of spaces and the allocation of paid instructor's time specifically for your appointment. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and in such extreme cases, we may consider requests for rescheduling on a case-by-case basis. Our aim is to ensure fairness and flexibility while maintaining the integrity of our scheduling and commitments to both our clients and staff. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.


5. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due upon booking unless otherwise agreed.
We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards and electronic transfers.


6. On-Site and Group Training
On-site and group training sessions are available for clients' convenience.
Clients must provide a suitable environment for training, including necessary equipment and space.
Additional fees may apply for on-site training based on location and group size.


7. Business Consulting Services
Our consulting services are designed to assist businesses in obtaining certifications and navigating government contracting.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the success of certification or contract awards.


8. Liability
We are committed to providing high-quality training and consulting services. However, we are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services.
Participants in physical training sessions must disclose any relevant medical conditions and participate at their own risk.

 

9. Physical Requirement:

Must be able to perform moderate physical activity including: Stepping backward, Grasping, Bending at the waist and knees, Lower 30-50 pounds to the ground, Must be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance, Full range of motion in both arms and both legs, Must be able to do a deep reverse lunge.

Physician Release Required: A Physician’s release is required for anyone currently or recently (30 days) under the care of a physician including but not limited to the following: Back/knee or neck injury, Cardiac, · Pregnancy (all trimesters) Any recent surgery.

 

10. Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.
All business consulting services are conducted with the utmost confidentiality.


11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.


12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
